South Irving Renewal! posted by gdk on 02/20/2007 After years of dreaming, debating and drawing up plans, the heart of South Irving could finally get a massive makeover. Lubbock-based McDougal Companies wants to redevelop several hundred acres, including downtown and the area around Trinity Railway Express station. The company plans to acquire property from businesses and homeowners and build new houses, apartments and retail space.
