As the preacher it is my privilege to
share God’s Word and proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Of course I
am prejudice, but we have some of the best people in the world at South MacArthur who share God’s grace and hospitality. And yes, we do have a few
ornery people as well. One of the great things about South MacArthur is that
you do not have to be perfect to be a part of our community of faith. I find
that there are some big life questions that reside in our spirit—Who is God?
Why am I here? What’s God up to in my life? Can I really trust God? Can I
begin again? Our life is only as meaningful as the questions we are willing
to ask and explore with others in a healthy environment. God is good and
faithful.
What we do on Sunday is a small part of
the life and character of this church. We are called to follow Jesus in
ministry and mission in the everyday stuff of life. This is why we need each
other for guidance, encouragement and help.
Have we met? If not, let’s get together
and talk about things that really matter. I am most often down front right
after morning worship or you can call or e-mail.
